The Choral Singing in America PODCAST

Host Jerry Blackstone is joined by Brain Gaukel, filmmaker, and Matthew Workman, Choral Singing in America executive producer, to discuss the who, what, why, when, where, and how Americans sing together. Choral Singing in America: Nurturing the American Soul is a docu-series in production that will culminate in an early 2023 premiere. Each podcast lasts about 20 minutes--the duration of the average commute to work--and will highlight the contributions of a leading choral musician, ending with a “pithy” take-away and the recording of a choral piece in its entirety. Perhaps these could be shared with choirs or inspire the listener with new ideas or the challenge or encouragement needed that day. Updates on the docu-series will also be shared in each of the once or twice a month podcasts.
